Severely Degraded Auditorium Building
The auditorium of Maoguang Christian Church was built in 1937. After some 70 years of use, the building is much degraded. Distortion and cracks are now obvious in the walls. The auditorium building was recently classified by relevant governmental authorities of Shantou City to be an "unsafe" or "severely damaged" building. The same authorities have requested the building to be demolished and replaced with a new building (refer to the building quality audit reports 1 and 2 from the authorities).
